Shambhala meditation
in Indianapolis
A meditation group meets every Tuesday, 7-9pm, to
practice in the tradition of the Shambhala lineage. We meditate for approximately
75 minutes, then break for
tea & discussion. If you have a cushion or meditation bench, please bring
it as I have only a few available. Beginning meditation instruction
is available upon request. Ask for Arel. There is no charge for
meditation or for instruction.
Directions and entry instructions can be found by clicking
on the Find Us button.
I am teaching a yoga class from 5:30-6:45pm. I will prop the
lower-level door open when yoga is over. Please try to arrive
between 6:45 and 7pm. Feel free to bring or invite others who are wanting to
meditate, regardless as to whether or not they have been introduced to
meditation or Shambhala. Initial meditation instruction is available
upon request. Questions can be directed to me
at 317-840-8393 or ricgood@sbcglobal.net.
See you Tuesday! - Ric (Arel) Good

Kirtan
(coming again soon)
Many people have expressed an
interest in chanting, so let's get together to let raise our voices
and to let our spirits soar, our bodies move, and our
hearts rejoice. No musical ability or kirtan experience is
necessary, just a willingness to have fun and potentially to touch
the divine. We'll gather at Open Heart, Quiet Mind at 429 E. Vermont St.
(For directions click on the "Find Us"
button on the left side of this page.) Enter via the
lower-level entrance located beneath the front steps.
Hope to see you there...and feel free to bring a friend.
And you are enthusiastically
invited to attend the 5:30pm beginner yoga class prior to the kirtan.
FREE! Just bring you heart, your voice, and a mat if
you have one.

you have studied, hone your skills and maybe learn some new
techniques. Please let me know if you are coming so I can plan
accordingly. Feel free to bring a friend to practice on if you wish.
And bring your mat if you have one.
